La Petite France is a cozy French bakery located in Stafford Springs, CT where customers have the chance to enjoy high quality and authentic French baked goods in a warm and familial atmosphere.

The bakery was successfully established over twenty five years ago by a French woman named Colette Bérube.  Before retiring, Colette wished to sell the bakery to fellow Français who shared her passion for baked goods, and she soon found just that.

Alexandra and Roméo moved to Stafford Springs in 2006. Soon after, Roméo took over as owner and has managed La Petite France with great success, given his training at a French Culinary Institute and previous experience in the industry.  Alexandra lends her expertise in business to the bakery, as she earned a business degree from the prestigious EM Lyon in France and her MBA at the University of Connecticut.  Alexandra and Roméo have a daughter who is almost 2 years old.

We are located on the main street (route 190) of Stafford Springs, CT.
